Just a reminder that there will again be burgers, brats and chicken available in the club house after Men's League tonight.

Also, the first Steak Night will be next week, June 4.

Off to a Chilly Start

Despite less than ideal playing conditions (but at least we missed the rain), Men's League was off and running last night. Scores have been updated on the Men's League page but remember that the points will be updated after handicaps are calculated following Week 3 play.

Men's League Set to Go

The teams have been entered and the schedule has been completed. I will have to get Kevin to add the link back to the side bar but for now it is listed below. Click on the "Weeks" or "Teams" tab at the bottom of the page to view the schedule.

I have entered most of the email addresses we received at the sign-up last week but if you would like to be added to the list, let me know.

A couple notes for this season:
- The first Steak Night is scheduled for June 4. There will be FOUR Steak Nights this year.
- Due to the high number of teams, we will be playing old hole #8 as hole 2A this year. Hopefully this will spread everyone out and let you play a little more instead of waiting.
- There is still a need for an extra player to fill out a couple teams so if you know someone who is interested in playing, let me know.

Men's Leage Two Weeks Away

Grant Golf Club's Men's League will begin the 2009 season on Thursday, May 14. The first night will consist of team signup and information at 5:30pm at the Clubhouse. Sign up your three-man team! The first night of competition will be Thursday, May 21 and continue on Thursday's after that.

12 Week tournament based on points.

6 for a win. 4 for a tie. 2 for a loss.

* if no scorecard is turned in you relieve a loss, 2 points and the score of the lowest round shot that night

First 3 weeks of play are to establish a team handicap. Once a handicap is set, will go back and determine wins and losses on week 1-3. After week 12 a points Champion will be determined. Cash prizes can be used set by amount of points earned or rank.

At the conclusion of 12 weeks, there will be a 2 week 18 hole 3-man scramble tournament using the established handicaps.
